Do I have ADHD?
A diagnosis of ADHD has often already been made in childhood or adolescence. But there are also more and more cases in which ADHD is recognised much later.
For many years, those affected agonise over typical questions such as: Why is it so difficult for me to focus on a task? Why do I often have outbursts of rage that are over in a few minutes? Why does this nagging inner turmoil continue to plague me? It may take decades for a diagnosis of "ADHD" to finally provide the correct answers to these questions – a long ordeal for those concerned.
One thing's for sure:
Anyone who suspects they suffer from ADHD should be active and make sure they are fully informed. A self-test can provide initial clues.
